FAST SIX SHOOTING COMMENCE

Fast Six has started shooting and, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson returns as DSS agent Luke Hobbs. This time, his crew’s power is increased by the addition of Gina Carano. The film is shooting now under the direction of Justin Lin, who returns to the director’s chair. Fast Six also stars Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Michelle Rodriguez, Joe Taslim, and Luke Evans. It opens May 24, 2013.

Fast and Furious Six : Dwane Johnson & Michelle Rodriguez


Director Justin Lin confirmed that Fast & Furious 6 will be set for a Memorial Day 2013 release. The movie will reunite cast members from the previous five films, including of course, Vin Diesel, who's also producing the film.Dwayne Johnson ( The Rock ) who hunts down Dom and Brian, played by Vin Diesel and Paul Walker.
Producers say that they're already banking on this film being a hit and are looking to make a sixth film that will focus on Dwayne's character.
 Michelle Rodriguez, despite her character's apparent demise earlier in the franchise, is now confirmed by Variety to reprise her role as Letty Ortiz in next year's Fast & Furious 6. Fast & Furious 6 is scheduled for release on May 24, 2013

Fast and Furious Six

Vin Diesel confirmed in an interview in 2010 that Fast Five has commenced producing and a sequel is also planned. In 2011, producer Neal H. Mortiz said about what the sixth movie is. We just finished Fast Five like 4 or 5 weeks ago and we just needed a break, and now we’re gonna start focusing on the sequel. Chris Morgan was set up with the task of writing the script. On June 24th 2011, Universal announced that the tentative release of Fast Six is 24th May 2013. Vin Diesel further said that Fast Six will be split into 2 parts. He said, "We have to pay off this story, we have to service all of these character relationships, and when we started mapping all that out it just went beyond 110 pages...The studio said, 'You can't fit all that story in one damn movie!"..On May 1, 2012, Michelle Rodriguez was confirmed to be reprising her role as Letty Ortiz, and it was announced that Welsh actor Luke Evans had been offered a role as a villain.
